Tessera Create Space 1

Create Space 1 is the sustainability specification in the Tessera range: 100% ECONYL® regenerated nylon — spun from reclaimed fishing nets and post-industrial waste — giving 75% total recycled content in a tile just 5.5mm thick.

At 500 g/m² and 5.5mm it is also the slimmest and lightest tile Tessera makes, which matters more than it sounds. Less material means lower embodied carbon per square metre, and the low build height suits access floors and refurbishments where an existing threshold can't be altered.

Eighteen colourways in a low level loop, rated Class 33 heavy commercial with continuous castor chair use and 25 dB sound reduction. A genuinely defensible answer when a tender asks for recycled content evidence rather than intent.
