Tessera is Forbo's tufted carpet tile brand. Every range on this page is a tufted construction — low loop, multi-pile-height loop, or the cut-and-loop hybrid used in Contour — in polyamide, at a recycled content between 60% and 76%.

Three things are worth knowing before you shortlist.

Recycled content is high across the whole range, not just the halo products. The lowest figure in the Tessera catalogue is 60%; the highest, Topology, is 76%. Forbo's own published claim for Tessera is at least 57% recycled content by weight, so the ranges supplied here sit at or above that.

Acoustic performance is a genuine differentiator. Impact sound reduction across Tessera runs from 17 dB (Struktur) to 27 dB (Layout, Outline, Topology, Twine). In a multi-storey building, a school, or anywhere Part E of the Building Regulations is in play, that ten-decibel spread matters more than the colour does.

Several ranges are designed to be laid together. Layout, Outline and the Layout & Outline plank share a construction and a build height. So do Teviot and Teviot Phase, and Topology and Twine. Pairing a field with an accent from within one platform means no transition detail, one line on the maintenance schedule, and matched attic stock.
