Flotex Colour Metro

Metro is the plain of the Flotex Colour family and, at 25 colourways, the widest palette in the Flotex range. It is not carpet and it is not vinyl — it is flocked flooring, with up to 80 million nylon fibres per square metre standing bolt upright on a waterproof backing.

That upright fibre orientation is the whole point. Loop pile carpet traps soil between and inside the loops; flocked fibres stand separately, so dirt sits on the surface and lifts out when vacuumed. Forbo publishes 76% soil release after vacuuming against 46% for loop pile.

100% polyamide 6.6 at 5mm, 62.5% recycled content, 19 dB impact sound reduction, Class 33 heavy commercial with continuous castor chair use. Completely waterproof, and Forbo states Flotex is the only textile flooring to hold the Allergy UK Seal of Approval™.
